Thanks to a two-year partnership with We Are Forging Futures, Essex-based Primary Education has added fencing to the range of activities that they deliver.

As a member of our Partner Programme, Primary Education receives training, resources and support from the We Are Forging Futures team. They are able to deliver our Ofsted-aligned personal development programme, aimed towards primary- and secondary-aged pupils.

PRIMARY EDUCATION
Primary Education was founded in 2013 by former athlete, Michael Richardson, with a vision to use sport to change the lives of young people.
They have 10 highly-qualified Education Instructors in their team, each delivering a range of services for Reception-KS4 to 15 primary schools and a home schooling community in Essex, which continues to grow year on year.
At Primary Education, they know that physical activity has benefits for children and young people’s physical health, as well as their mental well-being. Children who are physically active are happier, more resilient and more trusting of their peers.
They are passionate about teaching and learning. Physical Education have an inclusive and varied curriculum that enables them to provide schools with high quality lessons that are fun and engaging for your students.

Primary Education are thrilled to be able to offer various types of fencing sessions, from amazing have-a-go experiences to fully-designed and Ofsted-aligned personal development programmes that cover 36 learning outcomes.

…award and recognise students’ progression with British Fencing’s Achievement Awards. The MiniSword and GO/Fence awards and certificates have been refreshed to connect more to students’ desire for a more swordplay-based experience. Primary Education have additional support to deliver a holistic fencing programme that goes beyond a have-a-go experience, helping to unlock students’ potential as well as engaging the disengaged through a thematic- and games-based delivery.
