Thanks to a two-year partnership with We Are Forging Futures, Leicestershire-based SFK Multisports has added fencing to the wider provision of activities that they offer.

As a member of our Partner Programme, SFK Multisports receives training, resources and support from the We Are Forging Futures team. They are able to deliver our Ofsted-aligned personal development programme, aimed towards primary- and secondary-aged pupils.

ABOUT…

SFK MULTISPORTS

With over 15 years experience in the sports coaching field, SFK Multisports has now dedicated its services to improve the sport provision for communities, schools and groups. We aim to create innovative ideas with a strong influence on Multisports to develop participants from an early age.

SFK Multisports’ coaching methods focus on motor skills from a young age and focused coaching for specific sports. They aim to create all-round athletes by implementing ideas to improve awareness, decision-making, co-ordination, teamwork and technical ability. They aim to provide avenues for friendly engagement in sport, as well as competitive to ensure that their activities are inclusive for all.

Their activities range from amazing have-a-go experiences to fully-designed and Ofsted-aligned personal development programmes that cover 36 learning outcomes.

SFK Multisports deliver We Are Forging Futures’ Resilience and Self-Efficacy programme in the following postcode area, so if you are in this area as a school then know that they are working with British Fencing and the We Are Forging Futures team:

LE2 – Primary postcode area, but can deliver non-exclusively elsewhere too.

…award and recognise students’ progression with British Fencing’s Achievement Awards. The MiniSword and GO/Fence awards and certificates have been refreshed to connect more to students’ desire for a more swordplay-based experience. Primary Education have additional support to deliver a holistic fencing programme that goes beyond a have-a-go experience, helping to unlock students’ potential as well as engaging the disengaged through a thematic- and games-based delivery.
