New Deliverer level Partner – GO GO Makers
We Are Forging Futures is delighted to announce a new, two-year agreement with GO GO Makers, based in Warwickshire.
The partnership welcomes GO GO Makers as a Deliverer level partner operating exclusively in 8 postcode areas in Warwickshire, intially for the next two years. They are the second partner to join at this level under the We Are Forging Futures – in association with BF – partner family.
GO GO Makers provides holiday camps for children aged 4-11 years old, and they are proud to be able to deliver an endless range of opportunities to allow them to grow, develop, gain confidence, learn new things and make new friends! All of their settings are Ofsted registered. From very small beginnings, Emma Canning – founder of GO GO Makers – has grown a business that employs around 30 staff at their peak times.
James Craig, Commercial Director with BF, said,
“GO GO Makers’ ethos and values align really well with those of We Are Forging Futures and what we are trying to do beyond the Olympic and Paralympic sport of fencing. Emma could see the vision of British Fencing not just to provide another sport activity with the education brand, and instead saw our bold approach to use fencing as an engaging and inclusive way to introduce key personal development themes and to attract a different kind of participant to sessions – participants that may not otherwise consider an activity camp, but with having fencing in the schedule, can have an alternative offer and provide a positive experience.”
Emma Canning, founder of GO GO Makers, said,
“We are extremely excited to partner with British Fencing and its We Are Forging Futures programme in order to add this fun sport to our holiday camps at GO GO Makers. Learning how to fence provides a wide range of different benefits to help keep children happy and healthy. Not only is it fun and will allow them to burn more energy, but it also develops fine motor skills such as coordination, balance, posture, concentration, and self-control. This partnership fits perfectly with our purpose of inspiring young minds to think BIG, and we can’t wait for our GO GO Makers to experience the exciting world of swordplay, and open up a world of possibilities for them.”
